 Rene Spring has lived in Morgan Hill since 2004. He served Morgan Hill for over 12 years as a planning commissioner and City Councilmember, championing smart, anti‑sprawl growth and protection of open space and agricultural land. He prioritized responsible infrastructure and environmental stewardship, supported sustainable economic development, and was known for his collaborative, community‑focused approach to local government.

Senator Dave Cortese represents District 15 which encompasses much of Santa Clara County in the heart of Silicon Valley. Along with his accomplished career as an attorney and business owner, the Senator previously served on the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors, the San Jose City Council, and the East Side Union High School District Board.

Assembly Member Ash Kalra

Ash Kalra represents the 25th Assembly District which encompasses the majority of San José. In 2016 he became the first Indian American to serve in the Legislature and was re-elected to his fifth term in 2024.

Councilmember Peter Ortiz was elected to the San José City Council in November 2022 and proudly represents District 5, which includes the vibrant neighborhoods of Alum Rock, Mount Pleasant, and East San José.


Former California State Assembly Member Paul Fong

Paul Fong is a former California State Assemblymember, serving from 2008 to 2014. He represented District 22 (2008–2012) and District 28 (2012–2014) in the South Bay region, and currently serves as a trustee for the West Valley-Mission Community College District.

Mountain View Councilmember Lucas Ramirez

Mountain View City Councilmember Lucas Ramirez, a former Mayor and Vice Mayor, has earned recognition as a “civics dynamo” for his leadership on housing, renter protections, and homelessness initiatives, and for his work on key council committees and commissions.

Executive Director of Working Partnerships USA,  Maria Noel Fernández, where she leads campaigns that build community power for a more just economy in Silicon Valley. Working Partnerships USA is a community‑labor organization and action‑oriented think tank that tackles the root causes of inequality and poverty by combining grassroots organizing with public policy innovation to win quality jobs, healthy communities, inclusive growth, and a vibrant democracy for working families and communities.

 Supervisor Sylvia Arenas represents Santa Clara County Supervisorial District 1, which includes parts of San José, Morgan Hill, Gilroy, and San Martin. Elected in 2022 after six years on the San José City Council, her office connects residents with county services, community resources, events, and opportunities to raise local concerns.

  Margaret Abe-Koga  is a Santa Clara County Supervisor for District 5, elected in November 2024, and a longtime Mountain View political leader with deep roots in South Bay civic life. 


She joined the Mountain View City Council in 2006, serving four terms through 2020 and becoming the first Asian American woman to serve as both Vice-Mayor and Mayor in the city's history.
